After a 15 year hiatus from the dentist (mostly due to hating the pain and sounds), I needed some advanced work. I had the LANAP procedure and it has been 100% worth it. I just finished to left side today. I had the right side done a few weeks ago. To my surprise, it was pretty much pain free and the recovery time on the right side was minimal. If you have some bad pockets like I had, I would highly recommend Dr Morelli and LANAP.
